INTERNSHIP:

Computing Department at the Venezuelan Institute of Scientific Research (IVIC), 09/2003 - 12/2003: During this period of time I participated in different stages of project implementations related with free software applications and the following activities: proxy server configuration for the Institute (1300 machines approximately), development of a statistical web application, migration of software to the Linux architecture.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Goddard Space Flight Center, NASA, Technology Consultant, Greenbelt, MD, USA (May 2009 - Present)
At the Astrophysics Division of GSFC, I've worked as a Tech Consultant for new atomic database project. This project is based mainly on the migration of legacy schematized databases (atomic data) into a new universal SQL schema. At the front end of this new application, we have been developing a web site intended to serve as a search tool in the astronomical community.

Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), Technology Consultant, Los Teques, Miranda, Venezuela (March 2007 - November 2007)
At the Necessity and Opportunity Department (Technology Management) of the Caracas Metropolitan Region, I have worked as a Tech Consultant for different type of projects that have already finished the analysis and design phase of the software engineering. At this stage of the process they required counseling regarding possible and optimal solutions, aided by the state of the art technology. Some of the mayor projects treated in this period are:
